The film is based on journalist Abdoulatif’s Coulibaly’s denunciation of Wade’s scandalously unmet promises for democratic change and pays homage to the victims of his regime.

Joseph Gaïe Ramaka was born in Saint-Louis, Senegal. He studied Anthropology and Film in Paris. In France he started the production- and distribution companyLes Ateliers de l’Arche, which got a branching in Dakar.
